The characters look like anime heroes, not random kids. The boss fights also make it stand out. Subway Surfers and Temple Run are just pure running. You never stop to fight anything. The spirit companions are another nice touch. They make you feel less alone on the run. I recommend Anime Sprint if you like runners but want something with more personality. The anime theme and combat moments give it a fresh feel. It's not perfect, but it's more fun than the older runner games.
